Crouched down, watching every move the prey made. Judging the light wind that blew around the trees. The predator looked for any weakness the deer might have. The prey was with a buck which could be easily chased away with a roar or two. The deer though would probably head for the thicket that was three miles away. Still crouched she slowly moved around in the brushes. Moving almost snake like so her prey wouldn't hear her.
Getting into position with the wind coming toward her. She crouched even lower till her furry belly touched the sort dirt. Her ears up listening to every noise around her. And, her amber eyes focused on the deer she leapt out at the deer. Claws digging into the dirt for traction as she sped towards her meal. The buck turned and stood strong, but Kree let out a roar that almost sounded like thunder with little spark noises at the end. The buck spot off toward the thicket as did the deer.
She pushed herself forward toward the female. Grabbing the ground with her claws giving her that extra push. She leapt onto the deer's back and tried to pull it down. She was aiming for the deer's throat, but it had changed directions on her at the last second. So, she could only grab what was in front of her. Kree's claws and teeth dug into the female deer's flesh. Holding on for dear life the deer started to sway and slow down. Soon the deer was on the ground and Kree was tearing it apart. She laid down on the ground and was enjoying herself. Ever listening though to the noises around her.
When she ate what she was happy with. She grabbed the deer by the throat and started to look for a good tree to hide the rest in. Plus, she wasn't really done with her meal. She was just a bit nervous about eating on the ground for to long. Scouting around she finally found the perfect tree. She jumped up on the tree, digging her claws into the bark and made another jump to a branch while her meal was in tow. She let the dead deer lay on the branch while she started to eat again. Her tail was flicking back and forth with glee at her kill. Her mother would have been so proud.
